Good Morning! Happy Sunday! How is everyone doing this Sunday morning? I know some of you are at church.. This morning I didn’t make it, but I did listen to my other favorite Pastor Joel Osteen.. He gave a good word this morning… Kiss it Goodbye… He talked about how we should let go of the old hurts, disappointments, and failures. How we should allow God to heal the wounds of the past so we can move into our Destiny that he has for us.. He used Naomi and Ruth as the example… we sometimes block our blessings by holding on things we don’t need to hold onto. I was a grudge holder, but Lord, God is not a grudge holder he’s a God of Love. It’s funny because this message he preached, he was literally speaking to me this Morning..
Alright, let’s get this morning started with our word of the week… Love ❤️
Love as a word describes an emotion with vastly differing degrees of Intensity. Love is one of the most powerful emotion we can experience. Their are four types of love in the Bible. Eros, Storge, Philia, and Agape…
Let’s define what each of these loves means..
Eros- is the Greek word of sensual or romantic love.
Storge love- is a term for love in the Bible that you may not be familiar with, but this Greek word describes family love, the affectionate bond that develop naturally between parents and children and brothers and sisters.
Philia love- is the type of intimate love. This Greek term describes the powerful emotional bond see. In deep friendship.
Agape love- is the highest love of the four types of love in the Bible. The term defines God’s immeasurable, incomparable love for humankind. It is the define love that comes from God. Agape love is perfect, unconditional, sacrificial, and pure.
Now we no what each one of these words means… Let’s get started with our Scripture I chose for Love… which is:
We know that all things work together for the good of those who love God; those who are called according to his purpose.
Dear Heavenly Father,
Good Morning! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!! I can’t say it enough… Thank you that I have been called according to you plan and purpose for it is not your will that any should cease but that all should come to faith in Jesus Christ our Lord. Thank you that in Him there is no condemnation and no separation from you. In Jesus name I pray. Amen 🙏🏽
Today I pray we all show Agape Love towards our friends, family, children etc. etc..
Have a wonderful blessed Sunday!!
